We are located 14 miles from the Lihue Airport.  It will take you approximately 20 minutes to drive from the airport to the Kalua Moa Garden Cottage. When you arrive at the airport - the car rental check-in desks are located right across the street from the baggage claim area.

Take Highway 50 (Kaumuali’i Highway) going west towards Waimea. You will pass the turnoff for Koloa-Poipu, continue going west.

In approximately 4 miles you will pass the Lawai Post Office and Menehune Mini Mart on the right side of the Highway 50. Continue to the bottom of the hill to the main intersection of Hwy. 530 (Koloa Road) and Hwy. 50.  Make a left at the stop light to get on Highway 530.

You will immediately pass a Black Pearl/Eel Skin gift shop and 7th Day Adventist Church on the left.  Continue on Hwy. 530 approximately .7 mile.

Make the third right turn on Hailima Road. (You will pass Lauoho Rd., then Iwipoo Rd., then turn right on Hailima Rd.)

Continue on Hailima about 1/4 mile and make the first left on Aka Road.  Make the 2nd left on Kalua Moa Road.(dead end road)

Kalua Moa road jogs around to the right - the road will turned unpaved for a block then paved again.  You will see a driveway that dips down at the end of the road - take this down and park anywhere in front of the cottage. Kalua Moa Garden Cottage (3431A Kalua Moa Road). The cottage will be open and waiting for you. Additional instructions will be on the breakfast bar.
